Rob Wynne is an American artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores the interplay between language, image and material. Working across sculpture, installation, painting, embroidery and printmaking, Wynne is particularly known for his hand-poured mirrored-glass works, in which fragments of text are transformed into shimmering, three-dimensional forms. His practice often draws on literature, theatre, popular culture and art history, combining wit and nostalgia with an interest in the ambiguity and emotional resonance of language.

Wynne studied at Pratt Institute and has exhibited extensively in the United States and internationally. His work is held in major public collections including The Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Centre Pompidou in Paris.
