Virginia Leonard will be included in The Only True Protest is Beauty, the inaugural exhibition at Fondazione Dries Van Noten in the historic Palazzo Pisani Moretta, Venice from 25 April - 4 October 2026. Curated by Dries Van Noten with Geert Bruloot, the exhibition explores beauty as a charged encounter, one capable of unsettling the familiar and opening space for new possibilities.
Leonard's distinctive ceramic works join an international group of creatives whose practices foreground material inquiry, craftsmanship, and the expressive potential of making. Set within the ornate architecture of the Venetian palazzo, the exhibition brings contemporary works into dialogue with history, highlighting the intensity and imagination at the heart of creative practice.
