Gallery artist and internationally acclaimed sculptor Lisa Roet will be presenting a major survey exhibition presented by Menzies at their Melbourne gallery from 28 April - 16 May.
Spanning over thirty years, Roet’s multidisciplinary practice - encompassing sculpture, drawing, and printmaking - centres on the figure of the ape to explore the deep interconnection between humans and other primates. Her work investigates questions of evolution and creationism, language and communication, and the relationship between science and art.
