Claudia Kogachi is included in the group exhibition Soft Spot at Te Uru Waitākere Contemporary Gallery from 16 February-20 April 2025. The exhibition brings together artists exploring the textures and rituals of domestic life. Kogachi presents a deeply personal body of work that draws on family, memory and everyday experience. Working across painting and rug-making, Kogachi’s intimate scenes, often featuring those closest to her, invite viewers into private, familiar spaces, transforming moments of home life into tactile, emotionally resonant works that sit at the heart of the exhibition’s exploration of care, identity and belonging.
