The RT Nelson Awards for Sculpture have revealed the finalists for 2025 with newly annouced represented gallery artist Steve Carr included in the list of finalists. Carr was selected from hundreds of entries across New Zealand.
Celebrating innovation and diversity, the awards spotlight small-scale sculptures by some of the country’s most talented artists.
The finalists works will be showcased at the 2025 NZ Art Show at Wellington’s TSB Arena from 29 May to 1 June 2025.
Now in its fourth year, the RT Nelson Awards offer a $15,000 Premier Award, with additional prizes for Highly Commended and People’s Choice winners.
