Post Pop: Group Exhibition
Past exhibition
Overview
Pop Art revolutionized contemporary thinking towards art in the 1950s as aspects of mass culture were elevated to an art world more traditionally occupied by high art subjects and trends. Advertising, comics and mundane subjects of mass culture became the hot topics for artists Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Roy Litchenstein and Robert Indiana.
Post Pop takes a look at the ongoing influences these artists and the legacy of the Pop movement has on contemporary works. Including works by Joel Grossman, Gavin Turk, Dick Frizzell, Andy Warhol and Feng Zhengjie.
