FREEZE: Group Exhibition
The group exhibition Freeze celebrates artworks that have been inspired by the coldest regions of the globe, and includes work by gallery represented and invited artists.
Three photographs by self-taught photographer, Laurence Aberhart, featuring Taranaki and Otago landscapes, are shown alongside Alex Monteith’s video installation, Composition with RNZAF 3 Squadron Exercise Blackbird.
Dick Frizzell’s contribution to Freeze, Summer/Antarctica, features the inside window ledge from a hut at Scott Base that Frizzell visited in 2005.
Digital manipulation master, Anthony Goicolea’s works, Island and Glacier hang alongside a new painting by Simon Ingram, and three large scale vistas of Antarctica by Anne Noble* complete the collection.
