Gow Langsford Gallery is excited to partner with Elam Te Waka Tūhura School of Fine Arts for a special exhibition titled Animal, Vegetable, Mineral showcasing the innovative works of seven current and recent Elam MFA students. This collaborative project will take place from 2nd to 4th May 2025 at Onehunga Studios, a prime venue located in Gow Langsford's flagship building in Onehunga. The exhibition will coincide with the Aotearoa Art Fair, offering exceptional visibility for the artists and an opportunity to engage a wider audience.
Through this partnership, Gow Langsford is proud to continue its commitment to
fostering the visual arts in Aotearoa, offering emerging artists a platform to display their
creativity and talent. With a focus on student-led curation and artistic expression, this
the exhibition will highlight the diverse and dynamic future of New Zealand’s art scene.
Artists will manage the space during the event, providing visitors with a chance to
engage with the works and gain deeper insight into the creative process behind each
piece.
Animal, Vegetable, Mineral will be open Friday to Saturday (11 AM – 5 PM) and Sunday (11 AM – 4 PM), giving art lovers the chance to explore new and exciting developments in New
Zealand’s visual arts landscape. The exhibition precedes the opening of the Onehunga
Studios initiative which will be formally launched later this year.
