In Conversation: Sara Hughes and Dina Jezdić

22 November 2025
Overview
Gow Langsford Onehunga 4 Princes Street, Onehunga, Auckland 2:00 - 3:00pm

Join us from 2-3pm on Saturday 22 November at Gow Langsford Onehunga, as Sara Hughes discusses her new exhibition Colour Memories in conversation with writer and curator Dina Jezdić.

Developed over several years, Colour Memories is a deeply personal and reflective body of work shaped by ideas of memory, influence, and artistic lineage. Marking a milestone moment in her life and practice, Hughes looks closely at how her childhood, family, and life-long engagement with art have informed her creative journey.

In this talk, Hughes will share insights into her process and the women artists who have profoundly shaped her thinking and making, some encountered from afar, others through personal connection, and many through sustained admiration over time.

Free entry, no RSVP required.

On-street parking available around the area. Wheelchair accessible.
Please note this event will be standing room only in the gallery.
